Had a great time with out second project at Polkadot Craft Parties!  We made this great Give Thanks tree.  Each pocket as a "I am thankful for: " card for writing something you are thankful each day of the month in November.

Our first class for Polkadot Craft Parties! 
Pictures from a fun couple of nights with some great ladies.  We made these adorable Halloween calendars.  They were a lot of work but everyone had a good time.  We had some yummy treats as well.

Fabric Belt

Lots of projects on my to do list and I am slowly getting some on the "done" list.  Here is my first attempt at a fabric belt.  It is super easy.  I will definitely do more of these.  This would make a great "make and take" class. 

Sewing Camp

Who:  8 and up (adults included)


Skills developed:

• using a sewing machine
• using an iron
• laying out a pattern
• cutting out using a pattern
• using a seam ripper :)
• matching fabrics with projects

Possible Projects: (depending on skill level)

• Pillowcase
• apron
• tote bag
• simple skirt
• pillow

This is a small group setting with individual attention that will allow each student to work at their skill level.
